AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot are free, work on any phone, and can save you hours every week — if you know how to use them. This beginner course shows you how, step by step, using South African examples from real jobs and small businesses.
You will learn what AI actually is (and isn’t), how to ask it for what you need, and how to use it for the things that take up your day: emails, CVs, customer messages, quotes, planning, summarising long documents, and translating between isiXhosa, Afrikaans and English. You will also learn how to use AI safely — how to catch its mistakes, protect customer information under POPIA, and recognise AI scams.
Every chapter has short practice activities you do on your own phone, a quiz, and links to free videos. The course ends with a final assessment and a project: use AI to solve one real task from your own work or business. Finish, and you receive your PurpleGrowth certificate of completion.
