Who We Are
PURPLEGROWTH TRAINING AND EXECUTIVE COACHING (PTY) LTD (Reg: 2016/426738/07) operates the Purple Growth eCampus, an online platform offering accredited short courses in South Africa.
Our Commitment
We want every learner to be confident in their purchase. If you are not satisfied with your course, we encourage you to contact us as early as possible so we can assist.
Cooling-Off Period
As a gesture of good faith, and in line with South African consumer protection principles, we offer a 7 (seven) day refund window from the purchase date, subject to the conditions below. Note that once you access digital course content, your right to a cooling-off refund falls away, as delivery of the digital product is considered complete.
Refund Conditions
A refund will be considered if ALL of the following conditions are met:
- The refund request is submitted within 7 days of the purchase date.
- The learner has NOT accessed any course content — meaning they have not opened, started, or viewed any module, lesson, video, or assessment. Once any course content has been accessed, digital delivery is considered complete and the purchase is non-refundable.
- The request is made in writing to info@purplegrowth.co.za with the order number and reason for the refund.
When Refunds Are Not Available
- Refund requests submitted more than 7 days after purchase.
- Where the learner has accessed any course content — opening, starting, or viewing any module, lesson, or assessment constitutes delivery of the digital product, after which the purchase is non-refundable.
- Requests made after a certificate has been issued.
- Where the learner has violated the Terms and Conditions of the platform (e.g. sharing login credentials).
Discretionary Refunds
Outside of the conditions above, Purple Growth may, at its sole discretion, consider partial refunds or course credits in exceptional circumstances (e.g. verified serious illness). These are reviewed case by case and are not guaranteed.
How to Request a Refund
Send an email to info@purplegrowth.co.za with:
- Subject line: “Refund Request — [Your Full Name] — [Order Number]”
- Your registered email address
- The course name
- The date of purchase
- A brief reason for the request
We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and aim to resolve it within 7 business days of receiving all required information.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method (PayFast/card). Processing time is typically 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
